# OnePeace Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 26, 2026

## Overview
OnePeace is a Chrome extension that helps users focus with a Pomodoro timer, to-do list, notes, wallpapers, and a user-controlled site blocker.

This Privacy Policy explains what information OnePeace stores, how it is used, and when limited third-party requests may happen.

## Information We Store
OnePeace primarily stores data locally in Chrome extension storage on the user's device. This may include:

- To-do items
- Notes
- Timer state and session progress
- Theme, accent color, and wallpaper preferences
- Focus mode and minimal view preferences
- Blocked site list
- License status and cached license email, if the user activates a paid license

## How We Use Information
We use stored information only to provide the extension's features, such as:

- Saving productivity settings and preferences
- Running the timer and session tracker
- Blocking websites selected by the user
- Restoring the user's new tab experience across sessions
- Validating paid license access when the user activates a license key

## Data Sharing
OnePeace does not sell personal data.

OnePeace does not use user data for advertising, profiling, or resale.

OnePeace may make limited third-party requests only when needed for core functionality:

- Wallpaper keyword searches may contact Wikimedia Commons (commons.wikimedia.org) to fetch image results for custom keywords, and predefined wallpaper themes load images from Unsplash (images.unsplash.com)
- License activation may send the entered license key to Lemon Squeezy for validation

User notes, to-do items, and normal productivity data are not sent to third parties for analytics or advertising.

## Site Blocking
The site blocker is fully user-controlled. Websites are only blocked after the user adds them. OnePeace does not automatically choose or block websites on behalf of the user.

## Permissions
OnePeace uses the following Chrome permissions:

- `storage` to save local extension data
- `alarms` to keep the timer running in the background
- `notifications` to show session-complete notifications
- `declarativeNetRequest` and `declarativeNetRequestWithHostAccess` to block websites the user selects
- `host_permissions: <all_urls>` so user-created blocking rules can work on websites the user chooses

## Data Retention
Most extension data remains stored locally on the user's device until the user changes it, clears it, or removes the extension.

If a paid license is activated, cached license state may remain stored locally to support access validation.

## Your Choices
Users can:

- Edit or delete their notes and to-do items
- Change or clear wallpaper preferences
- Change blocker settings
- Remove the extension to delete locally stored extension data from Chrome
